Our mission as Wireswest German Wirehaired Pointer breeders is to preserve, improve, and promote  the fine qualities of the German Wirehaired Pointer as an exceptional upland and waterfowl versatile hunting dog and ideal family companion.  We offer 1-2 litters/year.

It is our goal to produce healthy bold durable bird dogs that have natural steadiness, stamina to conquer the steep terrain, desire to retrieve regardless of difficulty, intelligence to track and find game, boldness to bust through thick cover, swim in challenging conditions, and hunt in a cooperative range and manner.  Equally important is to have a calm temperament family house dog on those non-hunting days.

We place our puppies in family hunting homes only.  This breed is not suited to be full-time back yard pets nor will they do well as full time kennels dogs.  They are intelligent, highly driven, active hunting dogs that make affectionate, loyal family dogs if given the proper exercise.

We encourage you to come out and meet all our GWPs to witness their wonderful temperaments first hand!
